Fine and important antique Queen Anne inlaid burl yew & walnut, serpentine side table/lowboy, circa 1710. The table made from the finest burl yew & walnut, having a serpentine shaped top inlaid with a single string of satinwood following the profile of the table. The sides of reverse serpentine shape, the front having a single drawer with the original engraved 'batwing' brasses & escutcheon. The table is raised on cabriole legs, the front legs finely carved to the knees, the legs terminating to pad feet. Fabulous color and patination throughout.
One of the best Queen Anne tables I have seen in a 40 year career!
