Antique Louis XV French Inlaid Marquetry Bombe Writing Table / Desk / Bureau, circa 1880

A fine antique French marquetry bombe shaped writing/side table, circa 1880. The table is made from figured walnut and is sumptuously inlaid with floral fruit wood marquetry, the top having a central cartouche with an inlaid floral panel, the outer top of the table having six inlaid floral panels also. The table is of 'bombe' shape on all four sides and each side is also inlaid with corresponding floral marquetry, the front is fitted with a single drawer. The table is raised on 'feather banded' cabriole legs, the table is in excellent condition.
