With the incised signature and numbered 11/S, lower verso. Cast by A.A. Hébrard, Paris, with the foundry mark lower verso. 

Published in Czestochowski and Pingeot, Degas Sculptures, Catalogue Raisonné of the Bronzes, Milan, 2002, number 7 (another cast illustrated, pages 134-135). An original investment quality bronze bust by Edgar Degas.
