Antique American R J Horner Carved Oak Winged Griffin China Hutch / Cabinet, circa 1890. The cabinet made of quarter sawn oak & having a carved lion's mask pediment to the top and flanked with stylized carved foliate, below are a pair of carved winged griffin supports with corresponding pierced foliate carving. To the rear of the carved supports are three beveled mirrors, the interior of the cabinet also having three mirrors to the back & four original curved glass shelves. The front and sides of the cabinet having curved glass and to the front a single door is flanked by round columns with Corinthian capitals, the cabinet standing on four carved lion's paw feet. A fine & substantial R J Horner carved china hutch, in excellent condition.
