A good pair American Port-Modernist "High Sticking" sculptural chairs by Frank Gehry for Knoll International in black, designed in 1992.
One of the most celebrated architects of the second half of the 20th century, Frank Gehry made a career of pushing boundaries and questioning what architecture can do.
Gehry created his bentwood furniture collection for Knoll in 1992. Inspired by the surprising strength of a wooden bushel basket, he sought to fully integrate material and design and woven in maple creating a structurally and aesthetically light masterpiece . They are signed to the underside by both Gehry and Knoll and are stamped with the date they were made 07/ 11/ 93.
The chairs are in very good condition and are a sculptural work of art and would make a brilliant addition to your home.
