Created in 1952, this original color lithograph is hand signed in ink by Fernand Léger (1881 - 1955) in the lower right margin. Printed by Fernand Mourlot, Paris out of the total edition of 150 unnumbered proofs on Arches wove paper. Leger studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, in 1904 he moved to he moved to Montparnasse and met Alexander Archipenko,
Jacques Lipchitz, Marc Chagall, after WW1 his work became Cubist in style, by the 1930's his work matured into a more figurative style that persisted until his death.
His work is exhibited in many major galleries and museums worldwide.
