The spool cabinet circa 1890, having a shaped gallery and an inset covered brass inkwell, the lift-up writing slope enclosing a storage well for paperwork/invoices. The base having four drawers each marked with the type of thread and branded with the the "Willimantic" name above, the rear also displaying the company logo.
