Antique Queen Anne 8-Day Longcase Grandfather Clock by James Jordain, Chatham, Circa 1710. The clock having a 'Japanned' case with Chinoisserie decoration. The clock having an arched top with two brass ball finials below a door enclosing the works, the dial with brass spandrels & a silver dial with Roman numerals and a secondary dial and calendar. The clock signed to the dial, "James Jordain" [Jordan], he was active in Chatham, Kent and this clock is circa 1710.
