A large antique Art Deco wrought iron and blown Art Glass table lamp, in the style of Daum Glass and the metalwork of Edgar Brandt, 1920s.
The lamp base is made of blackened hand-forged iron, with four spiral convex discs within a circular foot, the body with an openwork shaft decorated with iron leaves and four corresponding spiral discs. The dome shaped shade made of hand-blown mottled honey-orange colored glass, blown into a hand-forged iron frame decorated with iron leaves. Whilst the shade is not signed Daum, an identical lamp was sold at Rempex Auction September 27th 2017, for $3500, it was signed with an etched signature to the shade; "Daum/Nancy" with the cross of Lorraine.
The lamp has just been professionally rewired from European wiring to American code, the lamp is in very good condition and provides a warm pleasant light and is ready to grace your space.
