A Large ancient 16th century bronze and copper alloy torso Statue of Buddha, Thailand, Ayutthaya, circa 1550.
This large statue of Buddha with traces of gilding and cast with a diaphanous sanghati (monastic robe) over his robust chest and draped in a cape-like manner behind, the robe fixed with a broad belt across his curving hips and long sash falling between his straight legs. 
This large (46 inches tall) and handsome temple bronze statue is raised on a later black stand, the statue displays beautifully.
