Antique 19th Century Islamic Brass & Silver Inlaid Koran/Qur'an Case, circa 1890. Antique late 19th century Islamic holy Qur'an portable carrying case, made of brass & silver, most likely North African (Morocco). The hinged case ornately engraved to the front & inlaid with carved bone panels and turquoise. The rear of the case is also engraved & having a central panel with Arabic numerals.
