(Sold) An antique marble, gesso, polychrome & gilt framed Alhambra plaque, by Enrique Linares, Granada, Spain, circa 1910.
The framed panel depicting a facade with a double mihrab and two windows above, lavishly decorated in gilt and polychrome with Nasrid style decoration and inscriptions in Arabic caligraphy, behind the central white marble column is an interior scene with figures.
The panel is under glass and is signed lower left "No. 23 Enrique Linares" and to the lower right "Granada". Condition is good.
