Antique Waterbury Willard No. 6 "Banjo" Clock, Connecticut, c. 1908, the mahogany case with an 8-inch porcelain Arabic numeral dial. Gilt-rope moldings enclose the reverse-painted eglomise glasses, the lower tablet glass painted with Aurora driving a chariot, brass finial, eight-day time only movement powered by a lead weight and regulated by a pendulum. All original and just professionally cleaned and overhauled, this is one of the rarest banjo clocks made by Waterbury, in great condition!
