Antique Spanish Moorish Baroque solid walnut carved barley-twist bench, circa 1850. A splendid Hispano-Moresque carved walnut bench, the bench having a gallery of cup-and-cover finials to the back with a second band of inverted finials below a carved floral frieze. The bench having barley-twist supports to each end and having curled armrests supported by turned columns. The bench having barley-twist supports to the back and to the stretchers below, the top stretchers decorated with carved rosettes and the bottom stretchers with carved circular bosses. The bench in excellent condition and raised on bun feet.
