An elegant Danish Mid century Modern teak bookcase room divider designed by Johannes Sorth for Bornholm Møbelfabrik (often abbreviated as BM), circa 1965.

The cabinet is raised on a 'floating" base with a slightly curvilinear stretcher joining circular tapered legs.
Bornholm Møbelfabrik were a mid-20th-century cabinetmaker located on the Danish island of Bornholm. Their stamp to the rear features the distinctive block initials "BM" encased within the geographic outline of the island of Bornholm with a star marking its location, accompanied by the text "MADE IN DENMARK".
The factory is most renowned for producing iconic case goods—particularly teak and rosewood secretary desks, bookcases, and chests of drawers—mainly designed by Johannes Sorth in the 1960s.

Condition of the bookcase is excellent, it is ready to grace your home or office.
