An elegant antique Swedish Biedermeier golden birch and burlwood chest of drawers, circa 1820.

The chest having a overhanging top with four graduated drawers below, the drawers are flanked with turned ebonized columns and having raised ebonized panels to the top and base. Each drawer is inlaid with an ebonized shield shaped escutcheon, complete with two original keys. The chest having a shaped apron to the base and sides and it is raised on bracket feet with ebonized trim. The chest having an old paper maker's label.

All the drawers open and close with ease and have very attractive graining and burl, the chest is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your home.
