Antique Style Italian Handmade Murano Venetian Etched Glass Mirror Fratelli Tosi

A fine large hand made antique style Murano glass Venetian mirror, by Fratelli Tosi.
This very fine mirror having an array of mouth-blown colored glass leaves & flowers, the arched top is adorned with gold leaves and scrolls with blue, turquoise and pink flowers. Within the arch is an etched Neo-Classical portrait of a maiden with a cherub flying above.
The rectangular inverted cushion shaped mirror below is made up of etched glass mirror panels with Rococo decoration, which are divided with 'rope-twist' canes of mouth-blown glass. The rest of the mirror is decorated with gold colored glass strapwork and appliqued glass flowers, the mirror is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your wall.

The mirror has been handcrafted by Venetian master glassmakers at the Fratelli Tosi glassworks located on the isle of Murano. The mirror will be an elegant addition to an entryway, above a fireplace, console or in a master bedroom.
