Antique Imperial Pre-Revolution Marble and Gilded Bronze Russian Desk Stand, Circa 1870. The base made of variegated marble & standing on bronze paw feet with a bronze frieze to the front, the stand surmounted with a magnificent bronze eagle standing on a 22k gilded rocky outcrop. The eagle flanked by two hinged ink wells with turned finials enclosing the original glass liners, to the front a recess to receive pens.
