Antique Indian Hindu Brass Engraved & Pierced Lidded Vase/Lamp/Incense Burner, Circa 1850. The vase is beautifully and finely engraved and pierced with Hindu figures and exotic animals. To the top is a domed lid with a turned finial, the vase of broad baluster shape. The vase most likely would have been used with a lit candle inside or possibly to burn incense. The engraving and reticulation is of the highest quality.
