(Recently Sold) A rare and impressive antique Pottery mosque lamp by Theodore Deck (1823-1891), made circa 1880. The lamp having a broad flared neck decorated with foliate and floral medallions and a large band of raised blue Naskh script, the base of globular form having entwined and brightly colored floral Arabesque overlaid with a tall band of Naskh script, the lamp raised on a circular shallow foot. This very rare and desirable ceramic lamp is in very good condition.
