Antique Russian silver-gilt jeweled cloisonne enameled Faberge kovsh, circa 1908. The Kovsh is finely decorated with an all over floral enamel design and towards the base it is punctuated with cabochons (possibly rubies, but the stones have not been tested) inset into the enamel flower heads. The vessel is stamped to the base with the Imperial cypher, Faberge and "88" for the silver purity.
The provenance of this vessel; from a Jewish/Polish family who left Warsaw in the 1930's and came to the States and then passed by descent. Condition is very good, the vessel has not been polished or treated.
