A good antique twin singing birds in a cage automoton, Karl Griesbaum, circa 1950.

A pair of feathered birds sing various bird song calls while moving their tails and beaks and bodies and swiveling their heads inside a brass cage. Dating from around 1950, the base with decorative cabochon 'gemstone' appliques. Condition is very good.

A lever controls play "continuous, intermittent or stop." The wind-up bellows mechanism plays beautifully, condition is very good indeed.
