A good antique French Country Provincial Louis XIII walnut serving dining table circa 1820.
The table with a overhanging top with a substantial base having a single deep drawer to the front and a shaped skirt on all four sides.
The table is of traditional pegged & joined construction and is raised on four turned legs joined by an 'X' frame stretcher with a carved acorn shaped finial to the center.
The table is constructed from solid walnut and has a wonderful rich honey colored patina, the table has just been given a first-class wax polish in Bloomsbury's professional restoration workshop.
Condition is very good, the table is robust and stable and ready to grace your space.
Provenance; From an 18th century chateau in the village of Meschers-sur-Gironde in the Southwest region of France.
