A good antique American walnut four tier revolving bookcase, by John Danner Co, Canton Ohio, 1877.
The four tier bookcase having tots of book storage on four sides, the bottom tier for oversize books, the bookcase turns on a quadraped revolving base.
Inside one of the top tiers the bookcase is stamped "Danners revolving bookcase Patented May 16th 1876 Feb 20th & Dec 11th 1877 John Danner Canton Ohio". Each side having four upright struts that are joined to the bookcase with brass studs.
Condition is good, the bookcase will hold several hundred books, it is ready to grace you home/library.
