A very elegant antique American sterling silver repousse wine bottle holder or decanter collar, by Brand-Chatillon New York NY, circa 1915.
Brand-Chatillon was an up market jeweler and retailer on 5th Ave in New York, they sold high quality silver and custom jewelery, this wine coaster is no exception!
The coaster or cuff is very finely decorated with repousse decoration, the top having pierced decoration, with a Rococo design below, a landscape with figures, musicians, a beatiful maiden with a large wine jug and salver.
The base of the coaster is stamped with the head of an 18th century gentleman, the name of the maker "Brand-Chatillon" and stamped sterling. Condition is excellent, this elegant antique wine coaster is ready to receive your favorite bottle.
