A fine antique American Empire mahogany dining table with five leaves, circa 1830.
Without leaves inserted the pedestal table is circular with a 60" diameter, the top & pedestal open to receive up to five leaves, two of which have skirts.
The table having a substantial flared octagonal pedestal on a quadruped base and raised on large heavily carved lion's paw feet. The table is made from the finest solid figured mahogany, the table & leaves have just been professionally & sympathetically French polished in Bloomsbury Fine Art & Antiques workshops.
The table when fully extended will comfortably seat at least 12 guests, this fine antique table is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your home for your next dinner party!
