A rare antique oak and curved glass mercantile store display case and table base, R. Lutke & Co, Portland Oregon, circa 1895. (We currently have five identical cases in stock)
The case and original table base stand are in two sections, the top display case having a pair of locking mirrored sliding doors to the rear, the case is lined with new red felt (which is on a board and is removable), the glass front having twin curved glass panels and glass panels to the sides and top, allowing items to be displayed from all sides.
The table base is raised on four turned legs, condition is excellent, the oak has been waxed-polished in Bloomsbury Fine Art & Antiques workshops, the red baize/felt has been recovered, the glass is all original and the cases and table bases are solid, stable & ready to display your wares and can be used as a shop counter too.
We currently have five such identical cases in stock, each one is 73" long x 48" high x 26.75 deep, all are in the same excellent condition, and have been wax polished, the interior red baize has been recovered and all the cabinets are free from damage or condition issues.
