A very good & large example of an antique Iznik style pottery bottle vase by the Samson factory, Paris, circa 1880. Edmé Samson had created beautiful pottery in the Persian, Islamic, Iznik and Hispano Moresque styles in the late 19th century. This large bottle shaped vase is a very good example of Samson's wares that were exhibited at the great Expositions held in Paris in 1867 and 1889.

A similar example in size and shape and design was for sale at Sothebys in October 2021 with a dollar estimate of $10,000-$15,000. This vase is in great condition.
