A very good quality 19th century Austrian carved walnut, Rococo Revival, twin pedestal desk, circa 1880. The desk having a carved gallery to the top, below there is a tooled and gilded leather writing surface, below are three drawers with carved fronts and gilded bronze handles. The twin pedestal base having carved doors, one enclosing a pair of file drawers and the other enclosing a single shelf, both the sides of the desk and the insides of the kneehole are paneled. The desk is raised on carved scrolled feet.

Condition is very good indeed, this handsome antique desk is ready to grace your home or your office.
