A good antique French late 17th century country oak refectory, dining table, circa 1680.
The table with a overhanging parquetry top, and having a shaped skirt on all four sides. The table is raised on baluster 'cup & cover' shaped legs. The table is joined on all sides with a stretcher, the stretchers show 350 years use! The table is of joined & pegged construction throughout.
The table has just lovingly received a coat of wax in Bloomsbury's professional workshops, it has a dark mellow honey color patina.
The table is substantial and sturdy and will serve another 350 years of use, this handsome antique refectory table is ready to grace your space and receive your guests.
