A good antique inlaid Venitian walnut bombe shaped commode/chest of drawers, Rococo/Louis XV style, Italy, circa 1880.
The chest is made from finely figured walnut and inlaid with fruitwood stringing, the bombe shaped chest with two short drawers to the top with two large drawers below, the drawers are lined in a patterned fabric. The drawers with the original gilt bronze handles, the commode is raised on cabriole legs that are carved at the knee.
A fine & diminuitive antique commode with ample storage, this very elegant commode is in excellent codition and is ready to grace your home.
