Antique French Oak Renaissance Revival Settle/Bench/Hall Seat, Circa 1890.  The bench having two carved finials to the top and having a carved frieze below with twin cornucopias and a carved male portrait oval to the center. Below the single shelf are six cast brass hooks depicting winged cherubs. The back of the settle is carved with a central frieze of a pair of male neoclassical figures and a carved female portrait flanked by two linen-fold panels. The base having a paneled and hinged lid enclosing a storage reservoir, the front of the settle with four carved diamond-shaped panels.
