Antique 19th Century French Louis XV Inlaid Marquetry Bombe Commode / Chest, circa 1880

A spectacular antique French marble top Louis XV style marquetry walnut bombe shaped commode, circa 1880. The two drawer commode having a substantial variegated marble top, the chest made of cross-banded walnut of bombe form and sumptuously inlaid with floral fruitwood marquetry. The commode having hand-forged & chased gilded bronze mounts, handles & escutcheons, with gilded sabots to the feet, the drawers run smooth and will accommodate significant storage.
The commode is of the highest quality and is in remarkable, excellent condition.
