Antique American Gothic Revival Carved Oak Lectern/Cabinet/Desk, circa 1860. The lectern very finely carved with Gothic devices, the slant-front writing/reading surface having the original velvet to receive a book/Bible. The sides carved with Gothic arches and quatrefoils, the front having two cupboard doors and corresponding carvings. The cabinet raised on tall bracket feet and having carved rosettes.
