Antique Set 8 English Oak & Leather Barley Twist Baroque Dining Arm Chairs 1880

A fine set of eight oak and leather Baroque Revival dining chairs, circa 1880.
A substantial set of chairs possessing the original dark red leather backs & seats, the leather has just been professionally conserved, repaired & re polished by an expert leather restorer, the leather possesses that lightly distressed look of 150 years of use in a Baronial Hall, but will now provide another 150 years of use!    
Both the chair backs & seats are covered in the original deep blood red leather with large brass studs, the back supports & stretchers are carved 'Barley Twist'. There are six regular chairs and two armchairs, the armchairs have Barley twist supports to the arms and the scrolled arms are carved with stylized oak leaves. All the chairs are in very good condition, comfortable & ready to grace your home, they are all robust & stable, and have been wax polished in Bloomsbury's workshops, the leather professionally restored.
