She has a beautiful face and contemplatively stares into the foreground, her hair tresses cascade across her wings. She sits on a rocky outcrop, with one leg gently raised and leaning against the other, her right leg outstretched, to the rear the sculpture is signed \"Oreste Ferrari\" and dated \"Roma 1880\". The statue is carved from a single block of fine-grained Carrara marble and displays exceptional anatomical precision, the statue having a soft luminous patina.
