A good 19th century Italian 'Florentine' or 'Lucerne' 4 burner brass oil lamp, in the Renaissance Revival manner, circa 1860.

Designed to burn whale oil which is placed into a reservoir with a lift up cover that would have four wicks, one to each burner. The lamp having a carrying handle above a pair of screens, over the four burners is a chatelaine of tools comprising; a pair of wick nips, a bucket, a lamp snuffer and a twisted brass tool to clean out spent wicks. Below is a screw that allows this lamp to be telescopically adjusted in height, the lamp having a 'barley' twist column and a circular repousse base which is raised on three claw feet.

The lamp is in good condition and could easily be used with modern lamp oil and fresh lamp wicks, which are readily obtained at most hardware stores.
