A beautiful antique German hand-painted Berlin KPM porcelain plaque, circa 1880.
The plaque was produced by Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (which was the Royal porcelain factory in Germany from the mid 18th century onward), the plaque is very finely painted & depicts a beautiful young Romany female musician. She is shown wearing a red head scarf and a gold necklace and earrings, she stands holding onto a silver birch tree and is looking wistfully into the distance.
The plaque is housed in the original Florentine carved & gilded frame, both the plaque and frame are in excellent condition, this very beautiful antique 19th century KPM plaque is ready to hang on your wall.
