The press cabinet is in three parts for ease of moving; a stepped removeable crown, above a twin door cabinet with a pair of fielded paneled doors with beaded molding, the doors are flanked with a pair of ribbed columns and acanthus leaf capitals and bases. The doors enclose four original sliding drawers.\u003cbr\u003eThe linen press base has gadrooning to the base and top edges, and is fitted with two short drawers above two long drawers, the drawers having the original oval brass bail handles, the press is raised on elegant ribbed splayed French feet.
