It's a very rare condition but does occur occasionally. This is an original model made circa 1860, and most likely by the French Physician Louis Thomas Jérôme Auzoux (1797-1880), who made human and veterinary anatomical models for medical schools.\u003cbr\u003eThe model stands on a brass and iron stand with an ornate base raised on four Rococo feet, the skeleton stands under a large glass domed cloche on a circular walnut base.
