Antique Islamic Qajar Muslim Arab Persian Dervish Sufi Brass Kashkul Begging Bowl, Circa 1800. A fine & rare Persian Qajar period (1779-1924) Sufi brass kashkul or begging bowl circa 1800. The bowl having finely engraved and pierced decoration and modeled as a 'Coco de Mer', the bowl having an opening shaped as a mihrab window from a mosque. To each end are fittings to connect a chain and the bowl also having an engraved panel depicting a Persian nobleman on horseback.
