Antique Italian Renaissance revival walnut marquetry sideboard / cabinet / server, circa 1880. The cabinet having a substantial stepped top and having two drawers below inlaid with floral marquetry and having turned handles. The drawers flanked by a pair of 'grotesque' masks above a pair of ribbed pilasters with ornately carved capitals. To the center a pair of inlaid doors with a chip-carved frieze below. The base of the cabinet having a recessed area and having a large carved rosette to the base, the cabinet raised on substantial carved paw feet.
