Antique French Provincial Walnut Louis XV Prie Dieu / Oratoire / Kneeler, circa 1760. A good antique French Louis XV Oratoire or Prie Dieu walnut cabinet, mid 18th century. The cabinet having a armrest to the top and a single door to the front with a diamond lozenge shaped paneled door (enclosing a shelf) & flanked by two narrow rectangular panels. The base having a locking kneeler, enclosing a storage resevoir, the oratoire returning all the original hardware and of joined & pegged construction.
