A very stylish pair of antique Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) bronze hibachi or censers, circa 1890. Of rounded form with a band of 'Greek key' decoration, to each side is a zoomorphic stylized elephant handle. Both censers are raised on a flared foot, both are in very good condition and possess great patina.
