A large elegant sterling silver repousse decorated tray in the chrysanthemum pattern, Dominick & Haff, New York, New York, dated 1901. The rectangular tray with undulating border repousse-decorated with chrysanthemums on a partially stippled ground, monogrammed "C S S" to center; with maker's mark enclosing "925" and the date of 1901, and further stamped "sterling" and "1808". The tray is in excellent condition, it is large at 16.5" long and a good heavy gauge sterling silver weight at 895 grams. Provenance: From the old mayors mansion, Portland Oregon
