"The Green Drawing Room" after Joseph Nash (1808-1878), Colored Engraving of the Interior of Windsor Castle, 1848.

Joseph Nash was an English water-colour painter and draughtsman. He was a member of the Water-colour Society where he first exhibited in 1835. He specialized in painting picturesque, medieval buildings and scenes and contributed illustrations to a number of books and was a awarded an honourable mention for six water-colours exhibited at the Paris exhibition of 1855.

This work sold by Partridge Fine Arts in London for the equivalent of $1,600 over 20 years ago. This work is accompanied by the original description and sales invoice
