Antique French Louis XVI Marquetry Walnut Ormolu Bibliotheque / Bookcase, circa 1880

A good antique French Louis XVI walnut & marquetry bibliotheque / bookcase, circa 1880. The twin door bibliotheque having panels of fruitwood marquetry inlay to the case of the cabinet, the doors also have corresponding marquetry, each door is glazed with the original glass panel and both doors have inlaid oval satinwood paterae to the base of the door. The doors enclose four adjustable shelves, the top of the bookcase having high quality cast bronze gilded mounts, the bookcase is raised on short tapered legs with ormolu feet.

The bookcase is in very good condition and is ready to grace you home or office.
