Antique Pair of Vertical Landscapes Oil on Canvas by C. Rieder (1840-1905), Circa 1880. Rieder painted under a number of names, including "Anton Pich, H. Moser, and Carl Rieder." This is an unusual pair of vertical landscapes showing a stream surrounded by trees at dusk, both canvases signed lower right and lower left, respectively. Housed in the original gesso on wood gilded frames. Each painting is mounted with a brass name plaque.
