(Sold) A very handsome antique Austrian Art Nouveau bronze table lamp with glass prisms, circa 1900.
The lamp of organic form with a 'balloon' shaped harp, that is ribbed and decorated with six stylized leaves. From the top of the harp hangs a pierced & reticulated dome shape lantern with a corresponding organic floral design, the outside of the lantern having a gallery of faceted crystal prisms.
The lamp is raised on a lobed base with four fan shaped elements with reticulated floral decoration.
The lamp has been professionally rewired with period style materials, the lamp has two settings, a lower more subtle light and a higher setting to provide a stronger light. Condition is very good indeed, this lamp is ready to grace your home.
