Antique English Edwardian rosewood & marquetry inlaid envelope card table, circa 1890. The table having a square top with four leaves that are inlaid with floral satinwood marquetry, each leaf is hinged & folds out to to reveal a larger square green baize/felt playing surface, in each corner is a satinwood gaming well for counters. The base having a single drawer with a brass handle, the table skirt having satinwood line inlay, the table having four ring-turned legs joined by an outswept stretcher with a central circular neo-classical carved boss, the table is raised on the original ceramic castors/wheels.
